Attorneys Insurance Mutual of the South is looking for an Executive Assistant to join our team.
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative assistance to the President and Claims Counsel in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant prepares communications on the President's behalf; communicates by telephone and in writing with insureds and outside counsel; maintains comprehensive and accurate records of the company, performs minor accounting and reinsurance-related duties, prepares corporate documents for board meetings; serves as liaison to the Board of Directors and its Committees; organizes meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, reminders and catering as necessary; manages the President's calendar, including travel arrangements; coordinates and hosts 6-12 one-hour CLE webinars per year; attends marketing events of the company as necessary; prepares social media posts of the company, assists other departments of the company as needed, and oversees special projects. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-oriented, and community-minded. The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgment in various situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, be able to prioritize tasks and work independently on a wide variety of confidential matters with discretion.
Strong work tenure: 5-10 years experience supporting C-Level executives, and/or paralegal or legal assistant experience, whether supporting outside or in-house counsel.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree
Strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, track record as a team player and problem solver, excellent written and verbal communication skills, emotional maturity, proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and demonstrating the highest level of client service, are essential.
MS Office suite proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and social media web platforms.
